    help_wanted.jpg     The Old Dominion EMS Alliance (ODEMSA) in Richmond,VA has a full-time opening for a Regional Projects Coordinator.   The position is responsible to, and will assist the ODEMSA Executive Director in coordinating the Central Virginia EMS System; in organizing, planning, and coordinating special programs and projects to serve the regional EMS system.   This position also assists the ODEMSA Training Director with the Regional EMS Training Fund administration.  Candidates must be motivated, resourceful, able to think and work independently and be creative.  The application period will end close of business November 17, 2017 at 5 PM.


Minimum Certification, Education and Experience Requirements:

Certification as an EMT, Intermediate or Paramedic with a minimum of five years experience in the delivery of prehospital EMS.  A solid working knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc.).  Ability to work evenings, weekends and to travel.   Own or have use of a private vehicle.  Strong ability to organize, plan and coordinate EMS projects and programs.  Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.  Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with career and  volunteer EMS providers, hospital personnel, government officials and coworkers.  Driving record in compliance with ODEMSA policy regarding insurability.  Current credentialing or ability to obtain, within a reasonable amount of time (by determination of the Executive Director), State Education Coordinator is preferred.   Ability to maintain confidentiality of information is mandatory.
