Clinical rotations are provided to affiliated pre-hospital providers in the ODEMSA Region through contracts with area hospitals. 

Provider requirements

To participate in this program providers must meet the following criteria;

• Member in good standing with an ODEMSA Region volunteer rescue squad, or employee of a paid service in the ODEMSA Region.  Member requests for Clinical Rotations will be confirmed via the Training Officer of the Agency in the ODEMSA Region.

• Student in an active ODEMSA Region ALS/BLS course and be a member in good standing with an ODEMSA Region Volunteer Rescue Squad, or employee of a paid service in the ODEMSA Region.  Student requests for Clinical Rotations will be confirmed via the instructor of the ODEMSA course.

• Complete each of the following required self study courses. (10 easy steps)

HDH

1. Read the document titled, "HDH Patient Privacy & Confidentiality"

2. Take the HDH HIPAA Test

3. Use the HDH HIPAA Answer Sheet to grade your test.

CJW

1. Read the document titled, "HIPAA Self-Study Packet For Affiliated Students"

2. Take the CJW HIPAA Privacy Test

3. Use the CJW HIPAA Answer Sheet to grade your test.

4. Read the document titled, "Safety Resource Packet For Affiliated Students"

5. Take the CJW Safety Test

6. Use the CJW Safety Answer Sheet to grade your test.

7. Forward all three completed tests to your instructor.
