In response to the intensifying outbreak caused by the H1N1 influenza virus, the Old Dominion EMS Alliance has established this Swine Flu Information Portal to quickly link EMS providers and agencies with information and tools to help prepare for the outbreak.  On Thursday, April 30 it was officially announced - the first confirmed cases of H1N1 Flu had penetrated the ODEMSA Region.   ODEMSA staff wish well-being to all our providers.  Please remember to take recommended precautions to ensure your safety.

The CDC has provided a document on Interim Guidance for Emergency Medical Services Systems and 9-1-1 Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) for Management of Patients with Confirmed or Suspected Swine-Origin Influenza A (H1N1) Infection.
